She Finished!

My mom finished the marathon! I wish I could have been there to see her finish. We have an agenda for this weekend though: we are going to Skype so that she can show me her medal. Thank you for all of your kind words of support!

Now on to my night. There is nothing more exciting than living in another country and stumbling upon one of your favorite foods from home a year and a half later. What did I find at the grocery store? I found The Laughing Cow cheese! I love this stuff. I really didn't think that it existed in Australia. I used to melt it on Tofu Shirataki noodles (anybody read Hungry Girl? Anyone? Anyone?), but it's also great to spread over bread or crackers.

I spread it on bread. I took several bites before I remembered that I wanted to take a picutre. I was hungry!

I ate it while I made dinner for myself. I've been cooking salmon for a few months now, but I always bought it from my grocery store. I liked it a lot, but I forgot that there was a fresh fish deli in the same building as my grocery store. It cost about a dollar more, but it was so worth it. It's much more fresh than the fish I get from my other store.

I have a lot of salmon left over from dinner (the piece you see is only half of it), so I'm thinking about a mango salmon salad for tomorrow's lunch. Yum.

I'm very hapy about my dinner and OF COURSE my mom, but I'm really bummed out about my hip. It's not getting better at all. I'm going to make an appointment with a physiotherapist tomorrow. It feels bruised when I press lightly on it, so I know that's not a good sign. WAHHHHHHHH!!! Let's hope I can book something in soon.

Goodnight, friends!

Jenny, Don't worry about your hip! I swear I had the same exact injury, and the hip roller I got (see tptherapy.com.au) helped me so much I RAN 26.2 MILES AND MY HIP NEVER HURT A BIT!!!I used it twice a day for two weeks. It's really like a miracle in a way. The Grid (I got orange) is amazing.
You will get better! xoMom
