Let's finally finish these recaps, shall we? Cocktail hour turned into the reception that went until 3 in the morning. The decorations: The food: They had a sandcastle wedding cake! We had an open bar all night, which was not a surprise since we were all staying at the all-inclusive resort. The bride's family also bought bottle of Grey Goose vodka for every table. There's my cousin pouring shots for those of us at our table who were crazy enough to take them! Cutting the cake! The food was very good, and the cake was probably the best wedding cake I ever ate. Soon enough, nearly all of us were up on the dance floor. All of the girls got their own pair of flip flops to rest our hurting feet. I always like it when weddings have those! Most of the guests headed off to bed before 3 am. Even for those who didn't drink at the beach during the day, many people started drinking at the bar at 4:30 before the ceremony began. I must have been smart to hold out until cocktail hour, because I made it all the way until 3! It was a blast, and I'm so glad that I got to experience all of the wedding excitement.
