The Battery Died

6/7/2011

This morning, my mom took me to pick up my car. Luckily, there was nothing terribly wrong with it. It just needed a brand new battery!

It was a seven year-old battery, and on a very hot day like yesterday where I was blasting the air conditioning with the radio playing, it just gave out. I'm relieved, because it could have been a lot worse.

I came home, enjoyed 50 minutes on the elliptical while watching the "Star Wars" version of "Family Guy" and then had a late breakfast. I ate my Kashi Autumn Wheat and Kashi Cinnamon Harvest cereals mixed together in one bowl with fresh berries and vanilla soy milk. Why is that such a great combination of foods?

I showered, ate a quick lunch (more Kashi cereal and a few pieces of ravioli) and then went to school. I learned about the metric system, and then I got to mix some chemicals together. I came home and heated up some more leftover ravioli with a salad on the side. I ate this all before 6 pm. I must have been hungry.

I then got to work on my homework, and I am now starting to realize that I am struggling. Once I start my biology class tomorrow, I am going to be overburdened with balancing work, family, friends, exercise, sleep and of course blogging! I'm still going to do my best to blog on most days, because it makes me so happy to do it. I just don't want my work to be sloppy or boring. So, I'll just have to see how these next eight weeks go for me.

Starting tomorrow, I'm planning on getting up at 5 am Mondays-Thursdays to exercise so that I have my evenings free to do work. Honestly, I just can't see how I'm going to sleep much. I like my eight hours, but I'm going to have to deal with five to six.

Who knows, it might all be okay. I always freak out in the beginning of a crazy schedule. I also haven't been a student for a long time, so it's hard to get back in the routine of studying.

Either way...it's only 8 weeks (minus two days!).
